From the website of Ochs Orchard: Ochs Orchard is a three generation family farm. In the late 1930's it started as the partnership of Ochs & Scheuermann. Peter Ochs and Chris Scheuermann ran a wholesale apple and peach fruit farm until 1969. In 1969 Peter purchased Chris Scheuermann's share of the farm and in 1971 invited his son, Leslie, to operate the orchard with him. In 1973, Leslie and his wife, Susan, purchased the orchard from Peter.
