About Joanne Florio

Joanne is a second-generation real estate agent, and began selling and renting homes in 1980, in Saddle River, NJ, at the same agency where her mother, Jean Florio, was the office manager and #1 Sales Associate of a prominent agency. Joanne started her real estate career while also going to graduate school for a Master’s degree in Biology/Clinical Nutrition. In 1986, she joined her mother, who was the Broker of her new company, Hallmark Homes REALTORS® in Hohokus, NJ.

A few years later, her father, Michael Florio, an Industrial Real Estate Broker in Hackensack, also joined Hallmark Homes RE as a co-Broker, where he continues the family legacy.

 

Joanne grew up in Upper Saddle River and has been there ever since, living a service to others. Her community service began in High School, having served and continuing to serve in many leadership positions, on many Municipal & Professional Boards and Committees. Most notably, she is currently serving her 6th term as a Town Councilwoman in Upper Saddle River.

 

Joanne has many loves, many interests, all of which she somehow finds time for. She loves her family, her nieces and nephews, and she loves helping people. She loves being a Chiropractor and a Clinical Nutritionist, where she also gets to help people on a daily basis. Joanne loves to help her friends, clients, who become friends, and patients find and sell their homes. Like Joanne always says, where else can you go to buy or sell your house where your agent can also help you to feel better!
